In a significant move aimed at enhancing both the work environment and service delivery, the Management of the National Transit Authority (NTA) has recently procured a 100KVA generator. This acquisition comes as part of the Public Sector Investment Program (PSIP) and follows the earlier purchase of a 25KVA generator, underscoring the NTA’s commitment to improving operational efficiency.

The new generator, which will complement the existing power infrastructure, is expected to provide a consistent and reliable energy source, enabling the NTA to operate smoothly across 24-hour shifts starting next Monday. The addition of this more powerful generator addresses long-standing challenges related to electricity supply at the NTA, which had previously hindered the entity capacity to meet its full operational potential.

For years, the NTA has struggled with limited energy resources, relying on a single generator that proved insufficient to power all aspects of its operations.
