Oversee the administration of personnel actions in line with the entity’s policies and the labor laws of Liberia.
The human resources manager works under the direct supervision of the Deputy Managing Director for Administration. Manage transparent and competitive recruitment and selection processes including the management of job descriptions, and proper job classification in line with the NTA’s terms of reference.
The responsibilities of HR include preparing work programs; managing the recruitment process from posting vacancies to chairing interview panels; recommending hiring decisions to management; maintaining an updated personnel database; monitoring position transitions, recruitments, earnings, and deductions; updating Terms of Reference; overseeing personnel action requests for recruitment and disciplinary matters; administering employee benefits; addressing internal and external personnel inquiries; presenting reports at meetings; submitting monthly personnel reports to the deputy managing director for administration; and performing other duties as required by management.
