The latest delivery consists of 20 fifteen-seater passenger buses and five cargo trucks, marking the conclusion of a significant partnership aimed at enhancing public transportation and logistics services throughout Liberia.
With the arrival of these vehicles, NTA has now fully taken possession of all 60 units included in the agreement, representing a major milestone in the Authority's ongoing efforts to modernize and expand its operational capacity. The newly acquired fleet is expected to play a critical role in improving the reliability, accessibility, and efficiency of transportation services for citizens and businesses across the country.
The 20 passenger buses will strengthen NTA's ability to provide safe, comfortable, and affordable transportation for commuters traveling between urban centers and rural communities. At the same time, the addition of five cargo trucks will enhance the Authority's capacity to support the movement of goods, agricultural products, and essential supplies, contributing to increased economic activity and connectivity nationwide.
The completion of this fleet acquisition underscores NTA's commitment to improving national transportation infrastructure and meeting the growing demand for both passenger and cargo services. This investment further positions NTA to play a leading role in supporting national development, facilitating commerce, and promoting mobility across Liberia.
The successful completion of the 60-vehicle acquisition demonstrates NTA's determination to strengthen the country's transportation sector and deliver quality services that meet the needs of the Liberian people. With the fleet now fully operational, the Authority is poised to enhance service delivery, create new opportunities for economic growth, and contribute to the broader vision of a more connected and accessible Liberia.
